Jeff is from Portland, Oregon and is the oldest of seven children. Leadership, responsibility, and discipline are skills that were learned and expected of him both inside and outside the home. He credits his parents for creating an atmosphere of achievement and an entrepreneurial spirit in their home. His father was a great mentor in helping him set up a business while in high school that opened his mind to the possibilities of business ownership. 

Jeff married his wife, Britt, and they graduated from college in 1992 and started down career paths.  After several companies and promises crumbled along with their hopes and dreams, Jeff and Britt focused on a company they started and had moonlighted with in their free time.  Although successful, the major economic shifts in 2000-2001 proved even small business owners need to be diversified.  Creating success and financial freedom is an interest and major area of study for Jeff, and Nouveau Riche was a developing opportunity in 2002 that he felt he had been preparing for! 

Jeff and Britt credit Nouveau Riche as a premier company that provides individuals and families the opportunity to achieve dreams and financial freedoms.  It has been challenging to tackle real estate, and rewarding to be a part of a community of succeeding individuals.  The Nouveau Riche experience has been exceptional for Jeff and Britt— a community where success is abundant and not just a possibility, but their reality!

Family is truly Jeff’s first priority  and he enjoys newfound freedoms, travel, and time with  Britt and their children. He is an avid skier and can be found making turns or backpacking in the mountains around home when downtime is needed. Jeff and Britt have four children, Alec, Parker, Lauren, and Madeline.

As the proud parents of four and active professionals earning six figure incomes, Dr. Steven and Ingrid Clegg were reaping the financial rewards of hard work, but there was something missing in their lives-- family time. Working long hours, Dr. Clegg had recently opened up a second Chiropractic clinic and Ingrid was a successful Sales and Marketing rep for Kaiser Hospital. Working with seniors, Ingrid realized the impact real estate investing can have on one’s financial security. Then, in October of 2005, the couple found Nouveau Riche.
 
Within six months with Nouveau Riche, they replaced the income from BOTH clinics, enabling Dr. Clegg to come home. By the end of their first year they had earned over $500K and Ingrid left Corporate America to be home full-time with her kids and to work Nouveau Riche with her husband. Celebrating two years with Nouveau Riche, they have now passed the $1 million mark in commissions and have used that money and the real estate investing education to purchase 13 investment properties.

Dr. Steven and Ingrid Clegg have a plaque on the wall at home from a leader in their faith that reads, “No other success can compensate for failure in the home.”  They can now look at that and smile knowing that Nouveau Riche has provided the best of both worlds. Their focus today is on sharing the valuable lesson they’ve learned and what Nouveau Riche has helped them achieve for their family, so that others may reach their dreams, too.

Clifton Mbanugo grew up in Nigeria, West Africa, and came to America in the Winter of 1994 with his mother and younger brother.  Economic situations in his country were deteriorating rapidly and his mother decided to take matters into her own hands. She decided it was time to reunite Clifton and his younger brother with their father who had left the country several years prior to pursue a business and medical studies.  Clifton arrived in Manhattan and, with the aid of a contact, discovered that his father actually resided in California. With only $300 to his name and his younger brother in tow, Clifton flew the rest of the way to Oakland, CA to find his father, while his mom flew back to Nigeria to care for his other siblings.  There was just one challenge...Clifton's father had no idea that he was coming and the reception was not warm. The following days were filled with anger and words that painted the picture that the surprise visit wasn't really appreciated, as evidenced by the attempts to send Clifton and his brother back to Nigeria. Ultimately, Clifton found himself in a strange land alone and penniless--the contact that had assisted with locating his father disappeared with his $300. His father finally settled and decided to allow Clifton to make his way in the land of opportunity.
 
In July of 2006, while working for an escrow company, a friend called Clifton and asked if he'd ever considered going into business as a real estate investor and businessman. That's when Clifton was introduced to Nouveau Riche and knew he found the vehicle to achieve his "American Dream." He quickly adopted Jim Piccolo, Mary Piccolo and Bob Snyder as models and mentors and used the Nouveau Riche founders and leaders as inspiration to achieve success.  The timing was particularly crucial since his mom and eight year old brother were homeless in Nigeria at the time.  Since then, Nouveau Riche has assisted Clifton in realizing some amazing dreams. Within 90 days, he walked away from his job in Title and Escrow, sent his mother over $25K in “thank-you-mom” money, bought her an apartment, and funded an African restaurant for her in Lagos, Nigeria, allowing her to create some income for herself. Clifton now owns cash-flow-positive properties and has created an incredible income stream sharing the opportunity with others. Nouveau Riche has allowed Clifton to design the life he desired, develop his leadership capabilities and start building a legacy of prosperity that he'll be proud to leave behind. He is honored and excited to be able to serve in a leadership role as an Independent Regional Advisor.

As a child, Chris watched his mom barely get by on welfare and section 8 housing, which motivated him to one day become a successful business owner and achieve financial freedom to help his family.  He found that he was "psychologically unemployable" as his dreams were always much bigger than what he could produce from a job.  In the late 90's he watched several young entrepreneurs get wealthy in the Silicon Valley by starting up internet companies,. So, at age 20, he decided to launch his own Web site design and marketing business out of his home, which was a 250 square foot studio in Santa Cruz, CA.  A few years later he met his beautiful partner Vanessa and relocated to Roseville, CA to take his business to the next level.  He teamed up with Google and in 2005 his business finally took off. For the first time in his life he was earning six figures!  Chris soon learned the hard way that as his income would rise, his expenses would rise to match it, and he was just broke at a higher level.

When Chris realized that he wanted to own a portfolio of cash flow positive real estate to produce passive income, he had no idea how to get started. He watched as several friends purchased real estate on speculation, but always feared taking action himself-- plus his business was running him with 15+ hour days just to keep going!  His internet business started declining, which meant even more hours behind a computer for less money, and eventually it was too much to handle.  He took his entire savings and left his career to become a loan officer and work his way back up, but several months later he had depleted his savings and was barely making enough to get by.

By June of 2006, Chris and Vanessa had hit rock bottom.  With credit scores in the 400's and negative bank accounts, they humbly had to borrow from friends and family just to pay rent.  At the time they were devastated, but what looked like a major disappointment was actually a blessing from GOD in disguise! It was at this moment in time that a friend introduced them to Nouveau Riche and within 90 days their lives had completely changed.  They earned enough income to pay off their debts, go full time with Nouveau Riche and save their good friend from foreclosure.  Now, less than two years later, they have earned well over half a million dollars in income and have helped dozens of people to change their lives as well.  Chris has also realized one of his biggest dreams--retiring his mom early from her job! 

In addition to building and supporting his marketing team, now at the IRA level, you can find Chris "paying it forward" to the community by offering his time and search engine optimization skills to help improve the Nouveau Riche reputation online as we continue to grow.

Chris reflects on his past and shares what keeps him motivated, stating, "Three years ago we were making $3,500/month combined from Vanessa working two jobs and me working two businesses full time.
